The corten finish gives an impressive aged look. It's actually a type of steel that contains copper and a number of other metals that makes the steel weathering steel. This gives it a "ready" rusty surface that protects the steel against corrosion 6-8 times better than "standard" rusty steel. In other words, they will last for ages.
The Helix is also available in a galvanised steel finish.
